Welcome to Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College a division of FSU.
FSU - Fairmont State University - 4 year (Teacher Education Degree Program (TEDP), Pre-Professional (PP), Bachelor Degree Program (BDP) and some Associate Degree Programs (ADP)
PC&TC Pierpont Community & Technical College - 2 year (Associate Degree (ADP), Certificate Program (CP) and Skill Sets (SK))
(Note: Fairmont State may admit conditionally some students who do not meet the basic admission standards. If your academic records and/or degree objectives do not match your choice above, the Office of Admissions will place you in the most appropriate level. All FSU and Pierpont C&TC programs are offered on the main Fairmont campus with the exception of Aviation (Bridgeport), Physical Therapist Assistant (Clarksburg), Radiologic Technology (Morgantown and Clarksburg), Paralegal (Clarksburg and Lewis County) and Wood Production Technology (Elkins).

International Students
- Application for Admission (must be received at least six weeks prior to semester start date)
- Certified (official) English translation of your high school transcript
- Official TOEFL scores of at least 173 (Computer based) or 61 (Internet based) (Obtain TOEFL information from the nearest U.S. Consulate)
- ACT or SAT Scores
- Certified (official) English translation of your college or university work
- Health form signed by a physician approved by U.S. Consular Authority (proof of immunization against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR))
- Proof of financial support for the period of expected attendance
- Proof of health insurance coverage

First Time Freshman Scholarship
For you to be considered for our First Time Freshman Scholarship the Office of Admissions must receive your Application for Admission, official ACT or SAT scores and high school transcript by December 15.

How to Use the Fairmont State University Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left
column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current
screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct
your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to
skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the
application.
