Applying for Admission
We are pleased that you are applying to Alderson-Broaddus College and will make every effort to ensure that the application process goes as smoothly as possible. Upon receipt of your application agreement statement, you will be mailed a confirmation letter. Notification of your admission status can be expected within four to eight weeks after we receive all forms and credentials requested. Again, thank you for choosing A-B. If you have any questions as you complete this online application for admission, please call the Admissions Office at (800) 263-1549 or (304) 457-1700.
Freshman Applicants
You should apply as a freshman candidate if you are currently enrolled in high school or have not enrolled or earned credit at another college or university following high school graduation.
Instructions:
- Complete this online application.
- Attach a check for $25 payable to A-B College to the printed application agreement statement. This is your application fee, and is nonrefundable. (If the application fee creates financial hardship for your family, please call the admissions office.)
- Ask your high school guidance counselor to send an official transcript of your high school record to A-B.
- If you are no longer in high school, you must still ask your former high school to send an official transcript and arrange to have official SAT I/ACT scores sent to our office. If you completed a GED, official scores must be sent to A-B.

You should apply as a transfer candidate if you have ever enrolled in a college or university following high school graduation. (Coursework taken during the summer after high school graduation does not apply.)
