Placement

Although there is no minimum ACT score required for admission, an official ACT score is recommended for assessment and placement purposes. Any new student who does not have an official ACT score will be placed in beginning math and English courses. Certain programs at Mountain State University may require students to meet additional admission requirements. Applicants for selected curricula or courses may be required to have minimum ACT (or SAT I) scores, take placement tests, or demonstrate other competencies as specified by each degree program.
